National Helpline for Senior Citizens: 14567 (Toll-Free Number)

Elderline, a toll-free helpline (14567), was launched on October 1, 2021, by the then Vice President of India on the International Day for Older Persons. It operates daily from 8 AM to 8 PM across all States and Union Territories. Its vision is to compassionately connect with and support senior citizens. The mission is to improve their lives by addressing grievances, providing information, and ensuring on-ground assistance through collaboration with government bodies, NGOs, private sector, and volunteers.
