By Train

Nearest Railway station is Dimapur town of Nagaland. Another railhead is Jiribam, a small town in Manipur 225 kms from Imphal.

By Road

Kangpokpi is connected by road with Guwahati (Assam) and Dimapur(Nagaland) through National Highway No. 2. And people can visit from Imphal by daily bus services from Imphal to Kangpokpi to and fro through the same NH 2.It is about 45km. from Imphal.
