As part of the Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas (JJGD) celebrations, the Hon’ble Prime Minister virtually laid the foundation stone of the Eklavya Model Residential School (EMRS) at Songpekjang in Kangpokpi District. The programme was graced by the Deputy Commissioner of Kangpokpi, Shri Mahesh Hiralal Chaudhari, IAS, the Additional Deputy Commissioner, Shri N. Shokhongam Baite, MCS, along with all District Level Officers (DLOs). During the event, the live streaming of the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s visit to Gujarat for JJGD was also webcast to the attendees. The occasion marked an important step toward enhancing educational infrastructure and empowering tribal students in the region.
